Central FLorida Staff Team

Area Director
Kim has served with InterVarsity for 7 years, working on campuses in the Orlando area. She has a deep love for student transformation and for the city. Kim lives downtown and loves always driving the opposite direction of rush hour traffic.

Univ. of Central Florida, South Asian Chapter
Arul graduated from the University of Central Florida, where he started an “Indian Prayer Group.” This year, he is planting a movement among South Asian students at UCF. Arul is a man of prayer, who loves Scripture and sharing the Gospel with those around him.

Indian River State College
Elsie is the veteran staff on the Central Florida team, serving 18 years with InterVarsity. She is a great woman of prayer and has a deep passion for students. She longs for students to devote themselves to God’s purposes. Elsie is married to Theo and they have two children - Stephane and Karissa.

Stetson University
Isaac has served with InterVarsity for 3 years as a volunteer and part-time staff at Stetson University. Isaac is passionate about the Kingdom of God, and encouraging students in their pursuit of God.

University of Central Florida
Steve is a fifth year staff with a vision to see 200 UCF students involved in InterVarsity and making an impact on campus. Steve and his wife, Jenna, live downtown, where they enjoy hanging out with their neighbor, Miss Mae.

Florida Institute of Technology
Tim graduated from Florida Institute of Technology in 2008, and serves as a staff at his alma mater. Tim played baseball during his time at FIT, often serving as the unofficial “chaplain” of his team. He is married to Cassie, who teaches high school.

University of Central Florida
Danny, a Chinese-American, graduated from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 2007. He moved to Orlando to pursue an internship and made his home here. At Urbana 2009, the Lord called Danny to work with students on campus. He will serve as a Ministry Intern at UCF for 2010-2011.

Seminole State College of Florida
Wes graduated from the University of Central Florida in May 2010, having been heavily involved with InterVarsity since his freshman year. After hearing God call’s to college students, Wes will serve as a Ministry Intern at Seminole State for 2010-2011. Wes is married to Denisse, and they have a 1-year-old daughter named Maya.
